• studies in electrical engineering at the TU Berlin
• multiple years in the patent department of the AEG-TELEFUNKEN AG, patent attorney (since 1977)
• leader of the patent and trademark department of the Braun AG (1977-80)
• patent attorney in a firm in Bremen (1980-86, since 1984 as partner), in his own firm in Bremen (1986-89), founding partner of Maikowski & Ninnemann (seit 1990)

Activities:

• German, European and international patent applications (in particular mechanical engineering, eletrical engineering including electronics, optics, automation engineering, telecommunications, software inventions)
• national and international trademark law
• litigations of patents, utility models and trademarks
• preparation of license and cooperation agreements
• counselling in the employee's invention law
