Curriculum Vitae:

• studies in mechanical engineering and process engineering at the RWTH Aachen and the Imperial College London (until 1995)
• doctoral degree (Dr.-Ing.) at the ETH Zürich, laboratorium for technical chemistry (1991-95)
• consultant (1991-95) in the area of process simulation und dynamics
• patent attorney (since 1999), partner at Maikowski & Ninnemann (since 2000)

Activities:

• German, European and international patent applications (in particular process engineering, plastics engineering, medical technology, mechanical engineering, software inventions)
• national and international trademark law
• litigations of patents, utility models and trademarks
• preparation of license and cooperation agreements
• counselling in the employee's invention law

Engagement:

• since 2002 lecturer und since 2009 honorary professor for patent law at the TU Berlin
• tutor at the European Patent Academy of the European Patent Office
• CEIPI tutor
• member of the district board GRUR Berlin-Brandenburg
• member of the board of the Bundesverband der Patentanwälte
